Callum Banks

Callum Banks, ActivOT TA at Rostrevor, is a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering client centred care. His journey in occupational therapy began during his high school years, where, through a connection, he started volunteering with CARA at the age of 15. In 2019, Callum officially joined the ActivOT team as an occupational therapy assistant. Nearly five years later, he continues to work passionately in this role while pursuing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of South Australia. Callum has been passionate about mentoring young individuals for many years, helping them develop their skills and fostering personal growth. He applies these skills to build rapport with his clients and encourage them to improve their functional abilities in self-care, household tasks, community participation, social integration, and leisure activities. As he progresses through his degree and gains more experience, Callum is eager to contribute to the field of occupational therapy, making a meaningful impact on the lives of his clients and the broader community.
