About Amy

Amy Wigmore has two decades of experience as an Occupational Therapist and is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their highest level of engagement, acceptance, and independence. With a career spanning diverse settings, including: • Acute care • Sub-acute rehabilitation • Vocational rehabilitation • Community-based practice At the heart of Amy’s practice is the belief that every individual has strengths and untapped potential. Amy’s purpose as an OT is to create opportunities and minimise barriers, ensuring her clients have the greatest possible access to meaningful activities, engagement and independence. Outside of work, Amy’s life is filled with energy and movement. As a former professional dancer, she’s always been passionate about movement and function — something that naturally led her to studies in Human Movement and ultimately a career in Occupational Therapy. Her two children are heavily involved in sports, and Amy loves cheering them on from the sidelines. With a blend of clinical expertise, adaptability, and a deeply personal approach to care, Amy is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of all of her clients — helping them engage fully in the activities and relationships that bring them joy. Amy loves to read (when she’s not too distracted!) and enjoys creative hobbies, including sewing. Most importantly, her friends and family mean the world to her, and she cherishes the time she gets to spend with them.
