About Georgia
Georgia Hondrovasilopoulos, ActivOT Fitzroy, is an experienced and committed Occupational Therapist who believes in providing client centred practice working with the utmost integrity, kindness and empathy. Her passion lies in positively impacting her client’s lives and thrives in each success they achieve together.
Georgia has had extensive experience working with clients with varying disabilities, including:
• Intellectual disabilities
• Down Syndrome
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Neurological Conditions e.g Traumatic brain injury, Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis
• Amputations
• Musculoskeletal disabilities
• Cognitive disabilities, including early-onset dementia and Alzheimer’s
Having worked as the Senior Clinical Lead she also has experience implementing innovative practices aimed to improve the quality of service provision.
Georgia is a passionate teacher, providing clinical leadership and support to new graduates and also to more experienced clinicians. She has supported students on clinical placements and through University tutoring. Georgia has lead multiple projects aimed to improve allied health and occupational therapy client outcomes and has presented at national conferences.
When she is not working she loves spending time with her family. She is a proud supporter of her sons who play soccer and enjoys cooking up a feast for her family.

Georgia gained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 1998. She has spent over 20 years working in one of Adelaide’s Tertiary Hospitals and has also provided home-based rehabilitation and home safety assessments to clients requiring support following their hospital admission.
