Marianne Tan

Marianne Tan, ActivOT Fulham Gardens, believes in living a purposeful life, with a focus on balance and simplicity. She enjoys supporting others to create possibilities, rather than just solving problems. She seeks to understand challenges holistically and find simple, meaningful ways to navigate them and support new ways of living. As an occupational therapist, Marianne has had the opportunity to practice both in Australia and in Singapore. Prior to migrating to Australia, she worked in a hospital setting across rehabilitation and palliative care wards, supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with a range of conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiovascular, oncological, and general medical conditions. Marianne works in the community, supporting individuals within the NDIS, DVA, and HCP schemes. This diverse experience has enhanced her skills in assessments and interventions. Outside of work, Marianne cherishes time with family while raising a child. She enjoys a cup of coffee, reading, going for walks, and decluttering her space, inspired by Japanese home designs. She also hopes to reconnect with her creative side as a form of self-care, aligning with her values of living a balanced life.
