Hilda Ho

Hilda Ho is a dedicated physiotherapist at ActivOT Physiotherapy Modbury, where she has been providing expert care since 2022. Before transitioning into physiotherapy, Hilda worked as an educator in special education for students with hearing impairments, physical disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. Her experience with these students, who face complex physical and cognitive challenges, inspired her to pursue physiotherapy to have a more direct impact on improving their physical health and quality of life. Hilda approaches her work with a hands-on, client-centred philosophy, customising each treatment plan to meet the specific needs of her clients. She is passionate about empowering clients through education and rehabilitation, helping them regain strength, independence, and confidence. Hilda's background in psychology enables her to approach her clients' care holistically, addressing both the physical and emotional components of recovery. She integrates this knowledge to help clients develop resilience and optimise rehabilitation outcomes. Outside of work, Hilda enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her dog. She believes in maintaining a balanced lifestyle, which she applies both personally and professionally, supporting her clients to achieve improved health and well-being.
