Sandra Afnan

Sandra, ActivOT Bridgewater, was born and raised in Adelaide. While taking a break to raise 2 boys, Sandra achieved a Diploma in Business (Marketing), working in sales and marketing for a local SA food manufacturing company, L’Abruzzese Pasta (a family business). She assisted the business and other food manufacturing companies in attaining Quality Accreditation Standards. Sandra has worked in a variety of settings including: • community-based aged care • outreach services • hospital inpatients both rehabilitation and acute care Sandra has worked with medical, nursing and allied health professionals in team settings, coordinating rehabilitation, home and pre-discharge plans for adults and the elderly. Sandra has been working closely with the veteran community in metropolitan Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and some country regions within South Australia for over 13 years. She specialises in DVA Allied Health home-based services. Sandra tries to keep fit by orienteering in SA, nationally and internationally. Her navigational skills are improving as a result!
