Jane Brennan

Jane was born and raised in country Victoria and relocated to South Australia in 2014. Passionate about enabling people to live independently and meaningfully, Jane sees occupational therapy as a way to help people fully engage in their lives. Before becoming an occupational therapist, she worked in training and education, supporting students and contributing to national vocational competencies in early childhood and education support. This background has strengthened her ability to communicate complex ideas in a practical, easy-to-understand way. Since joining ActivOT in 2019, she has supported adults with disabilities, veterans, and the elderly across the Copper Coast region. She collaborates closely with allied health specialists and works across the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, NDIS, and Aged Care Home Care Package schemes to get the best outcomes possible for clients. Committed to transparency, timeliness, and high-quality service, Jane ensures her clients and caregivers feel informed and confident. She values evidence-based practice and regularly upskills to provide the best outcomes for her clients. As an advocate for better support in rural areas, Jane collaborates with local health professionals, community organisations, and support networks. Outside of work, Jane enjoys spending time with her family which consists of Michael and two young daughters Lily and Isla and their family Spoodle, Nala, embracing the lifestyle of the Yorke Peninsula, including the beautiful beaches!
