About Ying

Ying Song, ActivOT Port Pirie, is passionate about supporting others through life’s challenges and celebrating their unique strengths. She believes everyone experiences ups and downs, and as an Occupational Therapist, she is committed to walking alongside her clients to help them achieve success, not by a standard definition, but in a way that is personally meaningful to them. For her, being an OT is not just a career, it’s a way of giving back to the community and making a genuine difference in people’s lives. Ying loves problem-solving and is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She is experienced in supporting individuals across a range of funding steams and presentations, including Autism, Acquired Brain Injury, and Psychosocial Disability within the NDIS space. Ying also has a strong passion for supporting local veterans and older adults through Home Care Packages, particularly in the area of equipment prescription. Beyond her professional life, Ying and her husband enjoy walking their golden retriever, Bobo, who keeps them on their toes with her love for adventure (and the occasional muddy puddle).
