About Courts
Courtenay (Courts) Karoubas has a special interest in working with adults who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. She provides the following supports:
• Sensory processing assessment and personalised intervention recommendations including integration of sensory modulation preferences into daily life, strategies that support a calm nervous system, and functional environmental modifications and assistive equipment ideas that support your life.
• Functional capacity assessment and recommendations including NDIS plan reviews, Home and Living recommendations including Specialist Disability Accommodation eligibility, and Administrative Review Tribunal evidence.
• Clinical supervision to occupational therapists (assessment, intervention and reporting)
• Clinical consultation with positive behaviour support practitioners and speech pathologists (transdisciplinary therapeutic intervention)

Courts completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at The University of Sydney in 2006. She brings over 20 years of experience working with autistic children, adolescents and adults in New South Wales and South Australia.
