Suzy McCallum (M OT), ActivOT Norwood, graduated from the University of South Australia in 2010. Since graduating, Suzy has worked in various settings including community and Calvary Rehabilitation Hospital.
Working within the community, Suzy gained valuable years of experience prescribing home modifications, equipment and setting up services to suit individual needs.
Within the Calvary Rehabilitation Hospital setting, Suzy worked with a variety of patients and provided therapy and assessments for those recovering from:
- spinal and orthopaedic joint replacement surgeries
- cardiac surgery
- auto-immune diseases
- neurological and cognitive deficits.
As a mobile occupational therapist in Norwood, Suzy has found herself in a fulfilling role. She enjoys implementing therapy and providing strategies to help people achieve their individual goals.
Suzy joined the ActivOT team to put her experiences to good use and to enhance people’s lives within their own homes.
Suzy is a devoted mum and enjoys spending time with her family. She’s also a motivated fitness trainer/instructor who values health and fitness and strives to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
