Yang is a passionate occupational therapist dedicated to improving the lives of others. Driven by an innate desire to listen to individuals’ needs and help them achieve their goals, she connects seamlessly with a diverse clientele, and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.

Originally from China, Yang‘s commitment is embedded in the belief that meticulous attention to detail and structure are essential for growth in every aspect of life. She strives to empower her clients to become more independent and live the lives they desire, using a holistic approach that focuses on each person’s unique circumstances and strengths to foster sustainable progress and development.

Yang has a passion for acquiring new knowledge and skills, she prioritises clear, open communication and values a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare. Recognising that everyone interacts with their environment uniquely—affected by their sensory processing, cognitive levels, mental status, personality, and background—Yang tailors her assessments and interventions as required. Her extensive experience in the public health system, where she spent 10 years managing patients with various medical and mental health conditions, has honed her expertise in addressing complex clinical challenges.

Yang graduated with a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of South Australia in 2011. Always observant of the world around her, she applies her skills and knowledge to analyse and reflect on global and local events, continuously seeking ways to improve herself and her practice.

In her free time, Yang enjoys capturing life’s moments through her camera lens, creating videos that document and reflect her experiences and surroundings.
