ActivOT can provide mobile occupational therapy services to eligible veterans and war widows at no cost. We also provide occupational therapy for clients on a fee for service basis, whether or not you have private health insurance.
Private occupational therapy services do not require a referral. This includes services you can claim through private health insurance “extras” cover. Rebates vary between health funds so we encourage you to contact your health fund to discuss your level of cover.
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment for occupational therapy services upon a valid referral from your GP or hospital discharge planner.
