ActivOT practitioners are NDIS ready and able to help on every stage of the NDIS journey, including a full range of assessment services and therapy programs. Our fees are available on this page.
NDIS fees
From 1st of July 2023 our NDIS occupational therapy rates are:
- $193.99 per hour
- $271.59 per hour in remote locations
- $290.99 per hour in very remote locations.

Our physiotherapy fees are:
- $224.62 per hour in SA and $193.99 per hour in QLD
- $314.47 per hour in remote locations
- $336.93 per hour in very remote locations.
Assessment costs
Our services are charged according to NDIS Pricing Arrangements and the Modified Monash Model (MMM) for remote and very remote areas.
The NDIS uses the Modified Monash Model (MMM) to determine regional, remote and very remote areas using a scale based on population size and locality (see the table below).

| 3 | Areas categorised ASGS-RA 2 and ASGS-RA 3 that are not in MM 2 and are in, or within 15km road distance, of a town with a population between 15,000 and 50,000. | ||
| 4 | Medium rural towns: Inner (ASGS-RA 2) and Outer Regional (ASGS-RA 3) areas that are not MM 2 or MM 3, and are in, or within a 10km drive of a town with between 5,000 to 15,000 residents. For example: Port Augusta, Charters Towers, Moree. | ||
| 5 | Small rural towns: All remaining Inner (ASGS-RA 2) and Outer Regional (ASGS-RA 3) areas. For example: Mount Buller, Moruya, Renmark, Condamine. |

| 6 | Remote communities: Remote mainland areas (ASGS-RA 4) AND remote islands less than 5kms offshore. For example: Cape Tribulation, Lightning Ridge, Alice Springs, Mallacoota, Port Hedland. Additionally, islands that have an MM 5 classification with a population of less than 1,000 without bridges to the mainland will now be classified as MM 6 for example: Bruny Island. | ||
| 7 | Very remote communities: Very remote areas (ASGS-RA 5). For example: Longreach, Coober Pedy, Thursday Island and all other remote island areas more than 5kms offshore. |

Travel time is also charged in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements at the above listed rates to a maximum of 30 minutes each way for MMM 1-3. MMM 4-5 can be charged up to 60 minutes each way. Remote and very remote are by negotiation.
Therapy Assistant Fees
We are able to provide therapy programs carried out by therapy assistants. We have highly skilled level 1 and 2 therapy assistants (TA) on our team who will ensure our therapy programs are completed to the highest levels.
Our Therapy Assistant rates are:
- Level 1 Therapy Assistant; $56.16 per hour
- Level 2 Therapy Assistant; $86.79 per hour
- Remote and very remote loadings also apply as per the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Travel time is also charged in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements at the above listed rates to a maximum of 30 minutes each way for MMM 1-3. MMM 4-5 can be charged up to 60 minutes each way. Remote and very remote are by negotiation.
