Nerida Polkinghorne ActivOT Bowden completed her Bachelor of Applied Science – Occupational Therapy at The University of South Australia in 2009. Since graduating she has worked as an Occupational Therapist with a range of clients in the acute, community and tertiary settings.
She has extensive experience with a range of clientele and conditions including, but not limited to: Oncology, Palliative Care, Renal, Vascular Surgery, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Cardiology, General and Specialty Medicine.
She is skilled in the following areas of Occupational Therapy:

Nerida is a passionate Occupational Therapist who loves getting to know her clients and their support networks, and working together with them to enhance functional engagement. She always strives for best outcomes for her clients, and client centred care underpins all of her interventions.
When she’s not providing mobile Occupational Therapy services in Bowden South Australia she enjoys reading a good book, spending time with her husband, 2 small children and 2 little dogs. She loves Pilates, coffee, music, travel and is currently learning Italian (with the aim of travelling back there with her family sometime soon and putting her learning into practice!). Nerida also has a keen interest in mindfulness and meditation and has seen first hand the enrichment it can bring to life.
