Working Together to Build Capability
Strengthening outcomes through collaboration
Our physiotherapists work closely with occupational therapists and therapy assistants to develop, monitor and deliver exercise and rehabilitation programs. These may focus on strength, balance, coordination, endurance and mobility, with programs delivered on land or in the water where appropriate.
Our team can also provide practical education for clients, families and carers, including safe manual handling practices and the use of manual handling equipment. Where appropriate, we can connect clients with community-based exercise programs and other specialist services to support their ongoing participation and rehabilitation.
We work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other members of the care team to provide practical physiotherapy support that reflects individual needs and circumstances.
