Occupational Therapy for Safer Workplaces
Practical support for safer, healthier working environments.
Our team partners with you to manage workplace injuries, support recovery and build better work habits. From manual handling to ergonomic audits, we provide guidance that empowers people and strengthens teams.
Injury Management
Support for a safe return to work
When someone is injured at work, quick support makes a difference. We aim to meet with the employer within 24-48 hours and ensure any modified duties are safe and achievable.

Our practitioners collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and appropriate return to duties. Injured team members receive education to reduce strain and improve movement.

Graduated return-to-work plans are created when needed, with the employer and employee involved every step of the way.

Manual Handling Training
Safe movement that fits your workplace
We don’t just show people how to lift and move, we help them understand why it matters. Our training blends evidence-based education with practical insights to empower your team.

We work closely with leadership teams to design manual handling training that’s practical, engaging, and aligned with your industry standards (e.g. Hazardous Manual Tasks Code of Practice, ACFI standards).

Training can include office ergonomics, safe lifting techniques, and proper chair adjustment to support healthy posture.

Employees leave with skills they can apply at work and beyond. We can also assess individual competencies when required.
Ergonomic Assessments
Proactive support for your workplace
We provide a wide range of services to assist employers in identifying and managing risks:

-
Single workstation assessments or entire office audits take into consideration ergonomic workstation factors, addressing work practices, job rotation and workflow.
-
Review of workplace accident and injury reports, consultation with management and other staff as appropriate.
-
Workplace walk-throughs/visual inspection to identify major risks and outline practical, cost effective solutions.
-
Review manual handling policies, procedures, practices and equipment.
-
Assistance in the development of relevant policies and procedures.
