About Matika

Matika Francis, ActivOT Upper Coomera provides in-home occupational therapy services to the Gold Coast area. She has a strong interest in home modifications and has an extensive range of skills and knowledge in this area, including minor and major modifications. She hopes to continue growing her skills and knowledge in this area. Matika is a kind and passionate clinician who strives to help her clients reach their full potential. She values and is committed to personal and professional growth. She actively seeks and engages in professional development to ensure her clients are provided with the best possible service. Matika believes that each of us is a beautiful, unique person with different strengths; her aim is to support and empower clients to achieve their goals through a person centred approach. In her downtime Matika enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, renovating her home, indulging in delicious foods and binge watching Netflix.

Matika graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2018. Matika's previous clinical experiences enabled her to gain a depth of knowledge in aged care and community practice. Matika has a range of experience with clients of all ages and conditions including stroke, dementia, physical conditions and paediatrics.
