Belinda Wallace

Belinda Wallace, ActivOT Maroochydore provides occupational therapy services to the Sunshine Coast and Bribie island areas specialising in home care packages, DVA and private clients. She is originally from Melbourne, Victoria, and relocated to the Sunshine Coast with her family for the lifestyle in 2020. She has embraced the coastal atmosphere and people. Belinda has a personal relationship with becoming an OT. Her first child was born with Down Syndrome. He is now in his twenties and, with her experience as a mother and an OT, Belinda has been able to advocate and support him in building his independence to meet his goals. As an occupational therapist, she has worked in a variety of settings, including community aged care, dementia care, disability, acute inpatient mental health, inpatient stroke rehabilitation and community rehabilitation. Belinda prides herself on continuing to develop her knowledge and skills by participating in professional development opportunities to provide the best up-to-date care for her clients In her downtime Belinda enjoys making candles, visiting the local markets, exploring the local community landscapes and spending time with her family and their menagerie of animals.
