About Kim
Kim Lynn, ActivOT Kawana, is a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with 10+ years’ experience working with people in the Sunshine Coast community in varying capacities (MAC, DVA, NDIS, Work Rehab, Clinical Care Coordination). Kim enjoys getting to know her clients holistically (past and present) to build a positive relationship to ensure client-centred practice to help achieve their individual goals.
Kim has a strong interest in Home Modifications (minor and major), Assistive Technology, cognitive rehabilitation, and capacity building. She would love to be able to incorporate Animal Assistive Therapy in her OT practice in the future.
In her downtime, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, including swims and bike rides with her 2 kids, and exploring the beautiful beaches and hinterland the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Kim also has a love for animals, music and travel.

Kim's Professional Background & Contact Details
Kim first came across the Occupational Therapy (OT) profession when she was searching for a career that would suit her long-term after travelling and working in administration, and completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2014. OT is the perfect balance between her interest in nursing and psychology – working with people to support both their physical and mental health.
