Holly Somerfield, ActivOT’s Business Development Manager, was born and raised in the Mount Gambier, South Australia. Holly’s a country girl at heart and has a thirst for travel and new experiences.
Holly’s career started in the travel industry, where she progressed from retail travel agent to Corporate Traveller and eventually managing Group Travel. It was through these roles that Holly gained the confidence to take on the business world and learned how to work with a variety of individuals.
After 15 years in travel, Holly was looking for a change that would push her out of her comfort zone and provide her with new opportunities to learn. She joined the ActivOT team in mid-2020 and hasn’t looked back. With a glass-half-full outlook, who aims to surround herself with positive, motivated and kind people, Holly is a perfect fit for the ActivOT team.
Life outside the office for Holly
Holly loves to balance business and adventure and she always likes to have her next holiday booked. Some of her favourite spots include Vietnam, Sri Lanka, the Greek Islands, and the South Pacific. Such is her love of travel, she even married her high school sweetheart in the stunning Koh Samui.
Family is everything to Holly, especially her daughter, Suzy, who always keeps her on her toes. Holly enjoys spending time with her sisters in South East SA, hanging out beachside, exploring food markets, or relaxing at her shack in Beachport.
