Vidhi Mittal

Vidhi Mittal, ActivOT Pimpama, is a passionate Occupational Therapist. Since graduating, Vidhi has worked in a variety of healthcare settings (in Australia as well as overseas) including hospitals (acute rehabilitation), paediatric and mental health clinics, residential aged care, as well as community based services. She has gained and developed a broad range of OT experience and skills, working with individuals across the lifespan and with multiple clinical conditions. In NSW, Vidhi was the lead therapist in a 130-bed aged care facility where she worked closely with older adults living with dementia, hearing/visual impairment, cancer, arthritis, stroke, Parkinson’s, falls and other age-related/geriatric medical conditions. Vidhi believes in seeing the “ability” not the “disability” and views each idividual as unique. She is driven by what truly matters to clients and is passionate about person-centred care, including collaboration with family and/or other health professionals. Vidhi enjoys working with clients in their own homes and local communities, to assist them in achieving their goals to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to them. Vidhi provides mobile occupational therapy services to eligible Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) white and gold card holders, Home Care Package (HCP) clients, NDIS participants and self-funded clients in and around the Logan City and South Brisbane area. When not at work, you’ll find Vidhi spending quality time with her family/friends and enjoying gardening, yoga, meditation, nature walks or learning something new!
