About Yann

Yew (Yann) Ho, ActivOT Elizabeth, has completed Master training electrical stimulation, as well as life coaching. He has a great passion for problem-solving which is present in his work with his clients and always strives to achieve the best outcome for them. Yann is also fluent in Mandarin. Yann also has a special interest in supporting clients in the following areas: • Stroke Rehabilitation – Utilising methods such as electrical stimulation, constraint-induced movement therapy, mirror therapy, motor imagery, and bilateral limb exercises • Parkinson’s Disease – Incorporating strategies like cue-based techniques, along with resistive and balance exercises to enhance mobility and function • Dementia – Engaging in brain and physical exercises, employing effective communication techniques, utilising memory-empowering tools, and providing sensory-focused therapy • Vision Impairment – Optimising the environment with proper lighting, home organisation, contrast adjustments, magnification tools, and marking objects for easier identification Outside of work, Yann enjoys spending time with his two sons. He likes to read, listen to music and do light exercises such as Tai Chi and cycling.
