Lizzy England (B OCCTHY)

Lizzy England, ActivOT Northside, provides occupational therapy services to her local community including on the Redcliffe Peninsular, Caboolture, and Bribie Island.

Lizzy has been working within the healthcare industry for 20 years, predominantly in aged care and disability.  She is passionate about helping adults in the community get the most out of their life and works with them to maximise their ability to do what they want and need to do.

With occupational therapy experience in a variety of clinical settings including acute, rehabilitation hospital, residential aged care facilities and the community, Lizzy has developed a solid knowledge base and skills including:

• the identification of rehabilitation needs
• assessment and retraining in functional tasks
• equipment prescription and training
• home modifications.

Lizzy enjoys working with all her clients but has a passion for those with dementia. She provides family education and links to carer supports.

Lizzy feels privileged to walk with clients and their families through the end of life process, providing occupational therapy services to help people remain as functional as possible and to die with dignity.

Lizzy is a dedicated and passionate occupational therapist in Brisbane. She actively seeks learning opportunities to ensure her clinical skills are consistent with best practice guidelines to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients.  She establishes rapport with ease and works collaboratively to achieve agreed goals. Her clear communication and creative solutions make her an asset to our ActivOT team.
