Siobhan Tothill, ActivOT Mitcham, graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia in 2005, after having previously completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) in 2002.
Siobhan has 17 years of occupational therapy experience working in both South Australia and the United Kingdom. She has worked extensively in private inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, government acute inpatient hospital care, residential and community care.
Siobhan also has extensive experience in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of clients presenting with varied clinical conditions including:
- neurological
- elective and trauma orthopedics
- multi-trauma surgery
- cardiology, renal, plastics and general medicine
- geriatrics, dementia care
- oncology
- palliative care
- chronic condition management.
Through her clinical work Siobhan has developed a strong foundation of knowledge, assessment and treatment skills coupled with an understanding of resources and services available to clients.
Siobhan offers mobile occupational therapy services including:
- clinical assessments
- functional assessments and therapy
- home safety assessments
- home modification recommendations
- equipment prescription
- falls prevention
- carer training
- comprehensive discharge planning.

Siobhan values respect, integrity and effective communication and her client centred approach ensures best outcomes for her clients.
As an ActivOT occupational therapist, Siobhan is fulfilling her desire to assist people to remain active and independent members within their community and environment, with a strong focus on promoting quality of life for her clients.
When Siobhan is not working, she is busy being a mum to her three children. She loves spending time with family and friends, being active in the outdoors and, when she has some time to sit down, she dabbles in making bright and colourful earrings.
