Sarah Posaner, ActivOT Adelaide Hills, completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia in 2012.
Since graduating, Sarah has worked in inpatient rehabilitation and a private community-based practice. Sarah has also completed numerous locum roles where she has provided occupational therapy services to acute hospitals in the public and private sector, community organisations and to residential aged care settings. Sarah joined ActivOT at the end of January 2020. Since then, she has enjoyed the flexibility ActivOT has provided for work-life balance.
As an occupational therapist in the Adelaide Hills, Sarah enjoys working with clients in their own homes and local community to develop an understanding of who they are and what is important to them to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Sarah can travel to Murray Bridge and areas of metropolitan Adelaide as required. Areas of clinical interest for Sarah include:
- Functional Assessments
- Simple and complex equipment prescription
- Home safety assessments
- Minor home modifications
- Bathroom and access modifications
- Falls prevention
Sarah has experience working within the following funding streams:
- DVA
- Home Care Packages.
- NDIS
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys getting together with friends and enjoying good food, hiking, walking her two dogs, and travelling.
