Rosetta Cafuta (B App Sc OT)

Rosetta Cafutta, ActivOT Kidman Park, completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy (OT) from the University of South Australia at the end of 1998.

Rosetta has over 15 years of experience as an occupational therapist in the field of mental health. She has worked across several settings including both community services and inpatient wards in South Australia within Western Mental Health, Central Northern Adelaide and the Central Adelaide Health Service.

Rosetta has extensive knowledge and experience working in both community and inpatient mental health settings. Her leadership roles as Principal Occupational Therapist, Central Northern Mental Health, and Team Leader, Western Psychosocial Rehabilitation program have enriched her clinical skills to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services. These include crisis management and implementing and evaluating individual and group intervention programs.

Rosetta is passionate about ensuring that clients are able to participate in their communities.  As an occupational therapist in Kidman Park, she aims to help clients feel less disenfranchised, and able to achieve better health and function.

Rosetta has a strong interest in trauma informed care and sensory approaches to assist individuals with their self management of emotional dysregulation.

Rosetta provides occupational therapy services to the Department of Veteran Affairs, Medicare Better Access Mental Health and she is a registered NDIS provider.  She offers both individual and group therapy dependent on clients needs.

When not working Rosetta loves spending time with her two boys engaging in outdoor activities and she has numerous hobbies.
