Pamela Borg, (B Occ Thy)

Pamela Borg, ActivOT Yarraville, worked as a disability support worker before graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Australian Catholic University (ACU) in 2018.

Pamela has worked in clinical and leadership roles since 2019 and was awarded with a Graduate of the Year award by her employer in 2019. She has over 5 years of experience with community-based NDIS practice and as a result has a deep understanding of the scheme and it’s rules.

Pamela has experience working with adult clients in the areas of:
  • Assistive Technology prescription (including powered wheelchairs and complex seating)
  • Pressure care management
  • Home modifications (minor/moderate)
  • Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Capacity building for adults with intellectual disabilities.
She has a calm and relaxed approach and values getting to know her clients, focusing on making them feel comfortable during their sessions with her. Pamela is committed to working with her clients, their families and care teams. She finds purpose in supporting clients to achieve their goals and participate in meaningful occupations. Pamela has experience working with clients who have:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Intellectual Disabilities
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Psychosocial Disabilities
Outside of her Occupational Therapy practice, Pamela enjoys spending time in the garden growing seasonal veggies and flowers. She loves being active, running, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
