Katie de Zeeuw, ActivOT Semaphore, completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 2005 at the University of South Australia.
Katie has over 16 years of experience working across a range of settings within public mental health services, including community and inpatient services.
Katie holds a high level of clinical expertise and experience working with clients with a range of mental health conditions, including those with high and complex support needs, dual diagnoses and comorbidities.
She is passionate about supporting clients to identify meaningful goals and support them to achieve these, to lead a fulfilled life.
Katie has completed a post graduate Diploma in Youth Mental Health Services at Melbourne University in 2004, and has a keen interest in working with young people experiencing mental illness.
Katie has worked extensively in senior clinician and leadership roles, which have enhanced her skills in working collaboratively and cohesively with clients, carers and other supports and services to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Katie provides occupational therapy services to the Department of Veteran Affairs and she is a registered NDIS provider. She offers both assessment and individual therapy, dependent on client needs.
When she’s not working, Katie loves spending time with her family. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her daughters and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
