ActivOT has a wealth of knowledge and resources at our fingertips via our network of skilled OTs. We are taking this knowledge and providing other occupational therapists with the opportunity to learn from some of our passionate OTs. The one-day event will deliver 6 CPD hours and will be covering the following content:
Assessment and Intervention Strategies for Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Module 1: Sensory processing assessment for adults with ASD
Module 2: Home and living assessments for adults with ASD
Module 3: Low cost AT clinical rationale and outcome measure
Module 4: Successful NDIS Report writing

Lisa has over 25 years of occupational therapy experience working across multiple private practice areas, including occupational rehabilitation, injury management and prevention, disability and community aged care. Since joining ActivOT she has developed a passion for training and mentoring other therapists to ensure that they are equipped to provide clients with up-to-date knowledge and skills, to empower them to achieve their therapy and life goals.
Courts has a special interest in working with adults who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She is also interested in undiagnosed sensory processing-related difficulties affecting daily life. Courts has extensive experience providing sensory processing assessment and intervention strategies, functional capacity assessment and recommendations; and consultation and professional development training in the areas of sensory processing assessment and intervention strategies.
